Downloading music from the internet

Have you ever downloaded music from the web? This is a very common thing but there are a wide range of opinions about this topic. 

To start with, it is a very useful and quick way of getting music and it’s available for everyone that has a computer. While purchasing music in a store or online is very expensive, downloading music from the internet is free and it lets you download a single track without the need of having the whole album which you may don’t like. On the other hand it also has a very big negative point which is that downloading music is illegal and damages artists and discographies by not paying them all the fees and original prices.

In conclusion downloading music from the internet whilst being a very good alternative to get music it's illegal and punished by law and it harms our favourite singers and the whole music surrounding.

Opinion Essay

All the students should spend at least one year abroad.


Staying a year abroad is an idea that not everybody likes. In my opinion and for many reasons this is a very good idea and everybody should at least think about it.

Fistly and the main reason is that changing completely your enviroment and starting from zero is always a good experience. In the same way you learn how to look after yourself and do new things you probably weren't used to do before, for example doing the laundry, washing up, cooking... In addition you make new friends and you get to know new people, cultures, places and maybe even languages which is always good for you.

For all these ideas I draw the conclusion that all the students should spend at least one year abroad for their academic and cultural learning.

Telling a story: MY ACCIDENT

In summer 2007 I had a very weird accident. I was nine years old and it had never happened to me something like that before. Fortunately no one was hurt (except from a sheep!).

It all started when I was going to Granada with my mother and my dog by car. We were near a field and my mother was driving by the highway at an adequate speed when a sheep tried to cross the highway. My mother didn't had time to stop and she had to continue so she ran over the sheep. We continued some kilometers without knowing what had happened until we started smelling something strange. It was similar to the smell of smoke. My mother found a place and we stopped. When we got out of the car it was very dark but we saw a big bump on the car's bonnet. I continued exploring and I realized there was plenty of wool everywhere. It was then when my mother called the car assurance company.

The story ends when the assistant came and saved us. Finally he took the car with the crane and he drove us to the city centre. The owner of the sheep was sued by my mother's lawyer.

Describing someone (My best friend: Martina)

My best friend's name is Martina. She's blond and short but she looks like me, people often mixes us up. She has got brown eyes and long straight hair.
She is one of the most important persons in my life, she is very friendly and nice and she likes to help others. It's the person to whom I go when I have any problem. She is always there for me. Martina is extroverted and has many friends. She is carzy, she  makes me laugh so badly that my stomach ends up hurting.

We are best friends since the year I knew her, in 5th primary. We were also neighbours when I lived in Brussels so we used to pass a lot of time together. She is like a part of my family because our families are so close that we nearly share mothers. Martina and I also share hobbies, we like sailing, we like listening to the same music, we like chatting, etc. To finish I would say that I love her.

Myself

My name is Lucía León Monedero and I'm 15 years old.

I was born in Malaga on the 4th November 1998. I first lived in Algeciras, then in Brussels, and finally here in Malaga.

Im 165 cm tall and I have blue eyes and brown hair.

I have one brother and one sister, they're both studying in England. My mother's name is Mercedes and my father's name is Rafael.

I like rowing and doing gimnastics. I did gimnastics for seven years but I had to quit because I had no time, I have participated in many contests. I also did sailing with my best friend, Martina.

Last year I graduated and I finished ESO, I had a lot of fun during the graduation, and I have memories that I'll never forget. During the year I have been living in Malaga I've met many people and I've done a lot of new friends.

Síntesis:
Mi conclusión final ha sido elegida tras mucho pensar sobre mi futuro. Al principio me veía más estudiando el bachillerato científico, porque no me gusta los temas relacionados con salud y pensaba que era el que tenria mas salidas. Mas tarde me dí cuenta de que en realidad no me gustan las ciencias por lo que estudiar ese bachillerato para conseguir una nota mediocre no era buena eleccion y que lo que debía hacer era elegir el bachillerato de sociales que ya uqe es más fácil puedo optar a una mejor nota que me lleve a mejores universidades. Me gustaria estudiar en Inglaterra por lo que debo esforzarme mucho. Dentro de este campo me gust mucho la economía, direccion de empresas, administración, etc.


Opinión de mi madre:
Como madre de Lucía llevo mucho tiempo observando sus gustos, y es verdad que al principio se inclinaba mas por cosas como la arquitectura o incluso alguna ingeniería pero creo que el cambio que ha elegido ha sido el acertado ya que as ciencias no es lo que mejor se le da y a mi parecer seguro que se abre muchas más puertas de esta forma. Yo estoy de acuerdo y la apoyo en todas sus decisiones, la idea que mas me gusta es qe se vaya a estudiar en el extranjero, ya que según va España cuando ella haya acabado la carrera puede que no le sea fácil encontrar trabajo ya que habrá gente mucho mas experienciada. Tambien me gustaria que más tarde pudiera estudiar un master tambien en el extranjero.

Al visistar la página web SEPE coji evolución mensua del paro registrado por edad y por sexo, porque lo encontré interesante. Tras haberlo leído detenidamente hubo unos aspectos que me llamaron la atención. El primer aspecto que me llamo la atención fue el relacionado con el paro de la mujer que es el doble que el del hombre pero al mismo tiempo el porcentaje de mujeres médicos contratadas es mayor que el hombre.
Otra cosa que captó mi atención fue que el mayor número de parados que hay en España es en Andalucía.
